Arrow (TV Series Review) [Part 2 of 3]

After escaping an island, a once spoiled brat must become a symbol of fear to take out the people who are killing his city. All the while he tries to keep up his reputation of a party boy.

Oliver Queen was never really a character that I knew about. It wasn’t until Smallville that I really heard of the character, and I like him in Smallville. I was fearful that this series wasn’t going to be good because it felt too soon since Smallville had ended. Well, let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised that I actually like the show. It’s creative and dark, similar to the Nolan series. The acting from the lead is pretty good, a little stiff, but I think that’s just the character.

Some episodes have been a bit weak, even for a comic book fan. Many might find that this series is just the CW trying to capitalize on what Nolan created but with a lesser known, and less liked character.

Season (to date): 4.5 out of 5

Meeting Prediction: You Betcha!
