The Campaign Review [57 of 200]

Two politicians, from different parties, campaign against one another in hope to win their spot in Congress. The only problem is that they are both HUGE idiots.

The movies humor is really dirty, but I quite enjoyed that. I also like the acting from Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell. The story is also funny and is pretty accessible whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat. Well, that’s only if you can handle comedians criticizing your political beliefs. I can handle it, and I thought it was pretty funny.

This movie is really, really raunchy, and a bit stupid. Despite the stupidity, I think many adults with a sense of humor will enjoy this movie. It’s not perfect, not even close, but the laughs are entertaining enough.

0035Fun Fact: Zach Galifianakis’ uncle was a Congressman in North Carolina, the state which the film takes place.

Favorite Scene: The dinner table conversation from the Huggins (Galifianakis) family.

Favorite Line: Bring your brooms cause it’s a mess. – Marty Huggins
